A note from the Directors

Founded in Colorado in 1993, the International Ballet School has achieved national recognition as a distinguished training ground for young dancers. Accompanying this prominence is the responsibility to train fine dancers with the highest technical standards and to do so with dedication, integrity and a caring attitude. In accomplishing these aims, it is central to the philosophy of the school that each student, regardless of whether or not a career in dance is planned, is given the care and individual attention he or she needs in order to reach their full potential. Exceptional dance training builds enduring life skills that will carry over to all areas of a person's life. It is our belief that the best way to send a young person into the future is with self confidence, discipline, creativity, and respect. We have spent our lives dedicated to this beautiful and gracious art form. During the course of our dance careers, we have enjoyed a wonderful life living and working abroad and dancing for some of the most prominent choreographers, teaches and directors of our time. It is our responsibility and great privilege to pass down the knowledge and experience we have gained, and hope it may inspire the next generation. For there is nothing more inspirational to us as teachers as seeing our students achieve their dreams.
